We want to make things better...

We're cyclists, and we're parents.

We love the trails, we love other people who love the trails, but as parents we love our children the most.

When The Re-Ride Tribe was formed, our primary goal was to find a way to raise funds for all the Children's Hospitals in the UK, because picking just one was way too hard. Geography shouldn't be a barrier to children who need care.

We then discovered that our business model was a win-win-win scenario!

- We take donated goods which saves them from going to landfill. Less waste, less carbon = happier planet!

- We resale these donated goods at a much-lower-than-market-value price, making cycling affordable = happy people!

- All our profits are then put into the Hospital Pot, which is then shared out to the 21 amazing Children's Hospitals in the UK = happy children!

Even though our primary goal is to raise funds, we felt, like all decent human beings, that our main goal was to just

MAKE - THINGS - BETTER

And hopefully we are.

But if you want to know more about the true foundations of our cause, then please read a quick story from our Founder below...

It started with Rosie

Hi there, Erika writing here *waves awkardly*

I'm a mother, mountain biker and the Founder of The Re-Ride Tribe.

The idea of forming The Re-Ride Tribe was first inspired when our daughter, Rosie, was admitted to the Bristol Children's Hospital after being born with a rare and complicated series of heart defects, known as Shone's Complex.

The care, support and kindness that our family received during what was easily the most harrowing time of our lives was beyond anything we could have imagined.

During our stay in one of the hospital's charity owned houses, we had the overwhelming urge of wanting to pay something back to the amazing team that was caring for our daughter.

Heartbreakingly, at the age of 22 days, Rosie passed away.

Our experience, that honestly cannot be put into words, has made me even more passionate about wanting to support other children and their families. My hope is that through The Re-Ride Tribe's contributions, Children's Hospitals across the UK will be able to fund even better care.

Every child deserves happiness and health.
